Quinceañeras on a BudgetEspañol

Who we are

The largest parent-to-parent quinceañera planning community — and the verified vendor directory it built.

It started as a Facebook group

Quinceañeras on a Budget began as a simple idea: parents planning a quinceañera should be able to ask parents who already planned one. No sales pitch in the answers, no ads dressed up as advice — just families telling families what actually worked, what it actually cost, and what they would do differently.

That idea grew into the largest parent-to-parent quinceañera planning community anywhere: more than 120,000 families across three groups — the main planning hub, a calmer second feed, and the Pre-Loved Marketplace where gowns and decor find their second quince. Every day, families in those groups answer each other’s questions, celebrate each other’s photos, and warn each other away from the vendors who don’t deliver.

Who runs it

This community and directory are run by the family behind New Dawn Photo, a Texas-based quinceañera photography and videography studio. We are not a media company or a marketing agency — we are people who work quinces almost every weekend, see hundreds of them from the inside, and got tired of watching families learn vendor lessons the expensive way.

That is also our disclosure, stated plainly: when this site points Dallas–Fort Worth families to New Dawn Photo for photo and video, we are pointing you to ourselves. We would rather say that in plain words than let you find out later. Every other vendor in the directory is an independent business with no ownership ties to us.

Why the directory exists

The hardest part of planning was never finding vendors — it was knowing which ones show up on time, charge what they quoted, and treat a family celebration like it matters. Group threads answered that question thousands of times, but threads scroll away. The directory is that community knowledge made permanent.

Every vendor listed here passed verification before publication: a public rating of 4.0 or higher with real reviews on Google, Facebook, or the BBB, and at least a year in business. A human checks, records what they saw, and re-checks on a schedule. Verification is the only way in, and it is not for sale.

How we keep it free

The directory is free for families — browsing, contacting vendors, the Build My Dream Team tool, all of it. A base listing is free for vendors too: passing verification is what earns the spot. If we ever offer paid promotion, it will be clearly labeled as promotion, and it will never buy a vendor past verification.
